چکیده

Introduction: Ameloblastoma is an odontogenic tumour with high recurrence rate. The objective of the present study was to evaluate existing literature regarding clinical, radiographic, histopathologic features, treatment, and rate ameloblastomas compare it features recurrent ameloblastomas. Materials methods: A systematic review done based on PRISMA statement. Search performed in “Pubmed” database search terminology “recurrent ameloblastoma”, “ameloblastoma recurrence” for articles published between 2010 2020. Data were extracted from full‐text discussed. Results: Out 515 articles, 16 fulfilled inclusion exclusion criteria. analysed two sections. first 10 publications assessed ameloblastoma general their while second section evaluated only 6 publications. There 234 recurrences 936 cases 23.50%. Male predominance noted mandible commonly affected. Solid/multicystic formed 74.5% tumours unicystic 23.3%. after conservative treatment 64.9% radical 12%. Conclusions: main factors multilocular ameloblastomas, follicular histopathology treatment.

.. Objectives: The aim of study was to observe the expression of MCM2 in dentigerous cyst and ameloblastoma. Introduction: Minichromosome maintenance protein (MCM2) may be a structurally and functionally complicated replication moiety that synergizes with different molecular factors therefore regulate DNA synthesis. MCM proteins play a job in maintaining genomic integrity and stop re-replicatio...

Perineural infiltration of the inferior alveolar nerve in mandibular ameloblastomas.

Our aim was to evaluate the histological association of mandibular solid and multicystic ameloblastoma with the inferior alveolar nerve, both in situ and in segments of the nerve that had been removed separately, to assess the feasibility of preserving the nerve during resection of mandibular ameloblastomas. In this prospective histological examination of 13 resected hemimandibulectomy specimen...

OBJECTIVE The aim of this study is to evaluate the caveolin-1 expression in a group of odontogenic cysts and tumors. MATERIAL AND METHOD In this cross-sectional study, the expression of caveolin-1 was evaluated immunohistochemically in 75 samples including 18 cases of dentigerous cyst, 18 odontogenic keratocysts, 3 orthokeratinized odontogenic cysts, 2 calcifying odontogenic cysts and 34 amel...

Heat Shock Protein27 Expression and Cell Differentiation in Ameloblastomas

The expression of HSP27 and some CKs were examined the 40 cases of typical solid/multicystic ameloblastoma using immunohistochemical techniques. In order to examine the relevance of HSP in cell differentiation, we focused on the cytoskeletal expression of CK. CK19 is a marker of typical odontogenic epithelium widely observed in follicular and plexiform types of ameloblastomas. Since staining wi...
